The advanced Animal-Away Plus combines a PIR (Passive Infrared) detection system, ultrasonic, sonic, and flashing strobe light to provide a convenient, versatile, effective and humane way to deter unwelcome animals. Cats, dogs, rabbits, squirrels, field rodents, bird pests as well as other pest animals that are afraid of flashing lights can be driven out of your gardens, lawns and yards with out being harmed.
It incorporates a sophisticated PIR(Passive Infrared motion detecting system) to monitor a 3 dimensional fan shape area of 70 degree arc at a distnace of 12 meters, which is approx. 85 square meters of unobstructed space. When intruding creatues are detected, the animal-away plus will be triggered, which will simultaneoulsy emit a flashing strobe light and a continuously variable sound frequency of 18000Hz to 24000Hz. The effectiveness of this newly designed device in repelling unwelcome animals can be achieved by high pitch sound waves plus the startling flashes. A function button on the face of the unit can be used as a test button or to shift frequency from the frequency range of variable 18000-24000Hz to audible sounds. The audible sounds plus flashing lights can be applied to scare away unwanted bird pests and elderly animals that are less sensitive to ultrasonic sounds.
Under battery operation, if the flashing strobe does not light up when sensing movement with in the protected zone, then it is time to replace batteries. To replace battery, turn the power switch to ''OFF'' position and repeat steps 1-2 and replace the main module by pushing it in to the mounting shelter.
